Hannah Joy Lee and Skye Deobrah Rex were reported missing from Waynesboro in March 2020, police said at the time. They are believed to be with their mother, 46-year-old Lashada Lee, who did not have custody of the girls at the time. The last time the girls had contact with their father was on March 15, at a Waynesboro home. A felony warrant was issued for Lashada Lee on June 2, 2020. Recently, NCMEC released photos of the two girls, who would now be 9 and 7 years old respectively. The girls are both described as biracial children, with

brown eyes and brown hair. Both girls are believed to be around 4 feet tall. In 2021, the girls’ father told Public Opinion that he had a three-year-long custody battle with Lashada Lee, and eventually won immediate full custody on March 17, 2020. Before he could pick them up from their mother, all three vanished. He described his experience since they were abducted as hell, saying he “wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.” Waynesboro Police Chief Jim Sourbier told the outlet that investigators believe Lee is being sheltered by family members possibly in Washington D.C. or the Maryland suburbs. Anyone with information should call 911, the Waynesboro PD at 717-762-2131, or NCMEC’s reporting line 1-800-843-5678.
