A Three Haircut
Fed Chairman Jerome Powell.Samuel Corum/Getty Images The Federal Reserve could be forced to cut interest rates in 2023 if a deep recession occurs, according to JPMorgan. The move would be an about-face by the Fed, considering it has aggressively raised rates in 2022. Potential rate cuts from the Fed would help backstop the stock market in the event of a precipitous decline, JPMorgan's Marko Kolanovic said. Just as fast as the Federal Reserve raised interest rates in 2022, they could do the exact opposite in 2023 and cut rates, according to JPMorgan. That's if a deep economic recession materializes and corporate earnings plummet, JPMorgan's Marko Kolanovic said in a Wednesday note. The Fed has been on an aggressive rate hike path so far this year, with another outsized 75-basis-point increase expected later today. That would push the federal funds rate to a range of 3.0% to 3.25% by the end of today, a far cry from its range at the start of the year of 0% to 0.25%. By the end of 2022, current market expectations suggest the fed funds rate will be in a range of 4% to 4.25% as Fed Chair Jerome Powell seeks to extinguish high inflation readings. But interest rate hikes take time to flow through the economy, meaning there's an ongoing risk that the Fed overtightens as it focuses on lagging indicators while economic growth slows. None of this is lost on JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon, who is set to testify to Congress later today.... https://menshaircuts.com/haircut-numbers-hair-clipper-sizes/.

of corporation tax in his fiscal event on Friday (Kirsty O’Connor/PA) (PA Wire) The Liberal Democrats have accused the Government of planning to give big banks an effective tax cut of more than £6 billion over two years, as Liz Truss plans to axe the proposed increase in corporation tax. The pledge to change course on the planned rise in corporation tax was a centrepiece of Ms Truss’s campaign to become Conservative leader, with the change expected to form part of the Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng’s mini-budget on Friday. But Liberal Democrat leader Sir Ed Davey hit out at the plan, calling it “shameful” as he cited new research suggesting that big banks and finance companies would see tax cuts of £2.6 billion in 2023/24, followed by another tax cut of £3.6 billion the following year. The research, by the House of Commons Library, was commissioned by the Lib Dems and the party is calling on the Prime Minister and Chancellor not to go ahead with the plan to freeze the tax. The finance and insurance industry, the party said, would benefit more than any other sector from the plan. “It is shameful that the Conservatives are choosing to cut taxes for the big banks, while leaving families and pensioners still struggling to pay their bills this winter. “The action taken by the Government will still see people’s energy bills double compared to last year. Meanwhile, big banks will be celebrating a bumper payday under the Conservatives as families have to... https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:ghxIuTIsIh0J:https://menshaircuts.com/haircut-numbers-hair-clipper-sizes/&cd=13&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=id.

of electric charging infrastructure, placing new stresses on California’s already fragile power grid and force the trucking industry to reshape how it does business. Regulators and activists say any disruption would ultimately be outweighed by lives and money saved. “Pound for pound, heavy-duty trucks are putting out far more pollution than anything else on the road,” said Will Barrett, national senior director for clean air advocacy with the American Lung Assn. “And that's really directly contributing to the fact that California has the worst air pollution in the country.” The proposal follows last month's vote by the board to end the sale of new gas-powered passenger cars and light trucks by 2035, citing an urgent need to combat human-caused climate change. The combination of measures puts heavy pressure on manufacturers and policymakers to move more swiftly toward emission-free vehicles. The California Air Resources Board, which must vote on the truck proposal, is expected to consider it Oct. 27. Many who rely on the trucks for work or commerce are worried the state isn’t ready for such a quick transformation. “There is no infrastructure to support this,” said Chris Shimoda, vice president of the California Trucking Assn. Even if California built up the charging infrastructure starting today, he said it’s unlikely that there would be enough to support the 400,000 big rigs traveling up and down the state by the deadline. There are already 1,900 medium- and heavy-duty zero-emission vehicles operating in California, most of which are transit buses. Story continues... .

and classist practices, including red-lining and siting decisions, have concentrated heavy-duty vehicle and freight activities in these communities, with concomitant disproportionate pollution burdens,” the regulators said in their proposed rules. “The rule truly is monumental. This is the only way we can get diesel out of our community,” said Andrea Vidaurre, a policy analyst at the People’s Collective for Environmental Justice, a nonprofit based in the Inland Empire. The region is the heart of the nation’s distribution centers, where Amazon is building one of its largest warehouses and thousands of trucks come and go daily, often passing through residential areas. “Right now you have 1,000 trucks an hour driving next to schools or communities in the Inland Empire,” she said. “It is like hundreds of streets throughout the Inland Empire that are dealing with diesel spewing onto windows, in people's houses, diesel spewing into the lungs of the kids playing, diesel causing people not to be able to go play outside. This is all real stuff. And we're talking about people's lives.” Shimoda, of the trucking association, said regulators had not thought through the consequences of their timeline. Often the fastest big rig charging stations take three to four hours, precious time when truckers are waiting for deliveries. Fast chargers take a shorter time but suck up immense levels of energy that could strain the power grid, especially during Flex Alerts. In its own analysis, the resources board acknowledged the importance of an “extreme high-powered charging system” that would reduce... .
2 on the sides haircut Always the perfect combination with Curtain Bangs haircut.” Story continues To achieve the look, the hair is “split down the middle of the head from the front to the nape of the neck,” Rachel explains, before it is “pulled forward” on each side and vertically cut to take off “fine ends." And, it works with bangs, longer layers, and in hair where distinctive layers have already been cut. The style works on all lengths of hair and, you'll be pleased to hear, any of my curly-haired friends, on all textures and types too.
